This finds resonance in the campaigns associated with promoting healthy lifestyle habits, awareness of the environmental -friendly practices, maintenance of cleanliness, responding proactively to hazardous medical emergencies.All these initiatives need the involvement of the students . Such involvements improve the hidden potentials of these young minds. The NSS units of the College arrange camps outside the college with the objective of inseminating a camaraderie among the participants. Such programmes are organised with the goal of instilling an accommodating spirit among all the campers. In celebrating the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on October 31 every year, the College evinces its intention of doing away with all the discriminatory and prejudiced attitudes. Educating young minds operate at different levels. The Rain Water Harvesting Unit of this College is a constant reminder of the conservation in the context of the ever-depleting natural resources. The installation of Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines has been done in 2022 to cater to the emergencies of the burgeoning number of girl students. This is undoubtedly the immediate reason behind the installation. However, this initiative indirectly addresses the issue of menstrual hygiene, clear knowledge about it and its management.This may not be available to the girls, many of whom are the first generation learners and many of whom are not affluent enough . Such moves even break the taboo associated with the menstrual cycle in the minds of the oposite sex --this is also a part of the learning process. Murshidabad Adarsha Mahavidyalaya constantly endeavours to inculcate in the students such values which make them grow up as complete individuals. The college has adopted a village and the volunteers of NSS Unites used to visit and survey the different aspects of their life. A sense of social awareness grown through the various programme like conducting free eye check-up, blood donation camp, thalassemia testing drive, fresh drinking water drive, cleaning the adjacent areas like Gramin hospital, schools etc. and plantation of trees.
