About IQAC:

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL

IQAC is instrumental in making necessary recommendations for the all-round growth and quality control of the human resources available in the domain of the college. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) monitors overall academic ambience, quality in teaching- learning and needs of the students.

As per the guidelines of the UGC and NAAC, IQAC was established on 30.05 2014. The Cell comprises of the Principal, senior faculty members, external members and non-teaching staff and student representatives. This cell is active in providing support to the college in various ways with regard to quality maintenance.

This Cell collects feedbacks from the final year students of the college. The reports are analysed and issues evolved thereof are placed before the Principal, the Teachers’ Council and also the concerned departments.

IQAC collects self-appraisal from the teachers which are taken to the Principal/TIC for annual assessment.

IQAC monitors the research activities of the teachers and keeps records for future analysis..

OBJECTIVES OF IQAC, MAM:

  • Organizing inter college workshops to enhance use of ICT facilities to improve teaching-learning.
  • Encouraging teachers to use different methods for teachings.
  • Encourage in Faculty Development Programme as well as Students Development Programmes.
  • Ensuring availability of modern tools and techniques for laboratory with reference to routine instruments, computers and high-end instruments.
  • Activating and facilitating all the committees of the college with regard to performance and provide support to the teachers for their academic, administrative and research endeavours.
  • Monitoring academic activities throughout the year through frequent meetings with members of the departments and suggesting means for quality sustenance and enhancement.
  • Collecting feedback from students and teaching staff.
  • Motivating faculty members to participate in various seminars, workshops and conferences to enrich their knowledge.
  • Organize or encouraged to convene departmental/Local/ national/International Seminar and Conference in the colleges.
