Inside the college the students used to organise and participate in various competitions like quiz, creative writing, debate, extempore, singing, recitation, Carrom, etc. Prizes are awarded to the winners of the competitions. There is a trend that each department separately organised Teachers’ Day, Farewell Programme in every session.
The college used to celebrate more than 14 special days, IndependenceDay, Women Day, College Foundation Day, International Mother Language Day, Birth day of Netaji, Najrul and Rabindranath etc. with great joy and participation.
Students of this college also participate in Youth Parliament Programmes annually. Financial support is provided by the Government of West Bengal and supplemented by the college.
