The College has a made an effort to form a structured mechanism for career guidance and placement of its students. Lectures and counselling sessions are occasionally arranged for the students by the IQAC and Career Counselling Cell of the college in association with some external organizations. Recently, college has signed a MoU with the BondhanPvt. Ltd., which will counsel the students for jobs training and subsequent placement.
The College has also arranged SDP, a career-oriented programme for career building guidance after graduation. The RICE, a private agency, used to organised their counselling programme at the end of the session for competitive examination preparation. The department of Geography is also planning to sign a MoU with an agency to get counselling in specific area like remoistening, morphology etc for their students. The George Telegraph, a local Vocational Training Agency has also approached us to organised workshop with the college students. Zelet company has organised their counselling programme twice in our collegeto invitestudents as part-time salesman.
